Tasks: Members focus on the business
community by providing assistance, outreach and recruitment.
If you like any of the following, you would
enjoy being on this committee:
- Needed business people, graphics designers and
PR and financial expertise.
- Design and produce marketing materials for Hyde Park,
- Develop ongoing speaker list for Networking Breakfasts.
- Expand direct business recruitment by targeting specific
businesses to attract to the district.
- Maintain a Hyde Park database for retail vacancies and
rental rates.
Goals for 2006:
- Serve as an information conduit for local businesses
to the resources available through the City of Boston and
other agencies,
- Effectively market Hyde Park to businesses and residents,
- Pursue a business recruitment strategy based on Hyde
Park specific retail market analysis,
- Foster business-to-business networking opportunities,
- Expand web based business membership initiative, with the promotion of a virtual "Yellow Pages" online for our Business Members.
