AT&T – The company announced that they will not terminate the service of any wireless, home phone or broadband residential or small business customer due to an inability to pay their bill as a result of the coronavirus pandemic – and we’re waiving late payment fees for those customers.

Boston Water & Sewer Commission – In the interests of supporting ratepayers during these difficult times, as of Monday, March 16, BWSC suspended all residential water service terminations for the foreseeable future. The Commission will also refrain from adding delinquency charges to any late bills during this period.

Comcast – All Xfinity WiFi Public Hotspots are now open to everyone on the “xfinitywifi” SSID. Public hotspots can be found in small/medium businesses and outdoors in commercial areas. Non-Xfinity subscribers need to accept Terms and Conditions to access the network and repeat when requested to continue to receive free unlimited access. Click here to see the map.

Eversource – They will support residential and business customers by suspending disconnection of service for non-payment, eliminating late payment charges, offering a flexible payment plan — with no down payment — for any past-due amount, and providing energy-saving tips and resources to help you manage any potential increase in your energy use and costs now that many families are spending their weekdays at home.

National Grid –  They have temporarily suspended collections-related activities, including service disconnections, to lessen any financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These policies will remain in effect at least until the end of April, when they will evaluate their continued need. Verizon – Due to economic circumstances related to the coronavirus and to keep customers connected during this economic and global crisis; Verizon waives late fees for residential and small business customers impacted by COVID-19, offers free international calling to CDC level 3 countries.
